MMA.James asked: Ok Heres the issue,My school (actual school teaches Math,Chem,Etc.) Holds TKD has an elective, and there are 13 year olds and such, that get there Black belt In just 18 Months (He says 2 years to try and extend it but, school years are 9 months so he isnt fooling me) anyways,They only Point spar, and on Special Days They spar useing there tons and tons of gear. Those special days are like, days before thanks giving break and such. They also use those Foam things called Boppers, and train with them (They resemble Blades Of Some sort) the man is a 4th dan,and has been Training in TKD since the 70’s..yeah right. The promotions are also every 2 Months,so Mcdojo? or Not. I say it is,but I take MMA it a Legit Place.

flyboop_2000 asked: I’ve begun taking Muay Thai lessons and starting to get sick of using the communal gear. I have found a bunch of different shin guards and I was wondering which brand provides the best bang for my buck. So far I’ve seen Twins, Everlast, Century, Adidas, Tiger Claw, and Ring Side.
Any recommendations?

Matt Leonard asked: I am currently going to jujitsu. However i was going to take up mma and boxing aswell. Is this a good blend ? or will things overlap, or will it be too much. I want a good blend for fighting. I was hoping that the boxing would be my stand up, the jujitsu my ground, and the mma everything in between. However do you learn kicks in mma etc ? would i be better taking kick boxing instead of boxing.
The only classes i have available to me are jujitsu, boxing, mma and kickboxing. Thanks
Also what type of training should i be gearing towards. I currently do sprinting, weight etc to build power. Would i be better working on strength, or speed, endurance etc ?
Thanks again
